K&M Project Services is proud to announce the opening of our second office, now officially operating in downtown Cameron. Our new location is adjacent to Cameron Square, directly behind the courthouse at 128 Smith Circle, Cameron, LA 70631.

Our Projects

Rockefeller Refuge Levees

This project consisted of dredging and soil placement to refurbish approximately eighty-five (85) miles of earthen levees on the Rockefeller Wildlife Refuge in Grand Chenier, LA, which were damaged by Hurricanes Laura and Delta. Our team’s work on the project consisted of topographic and bathymetric survey of the project area, earthwork calculations for the repair of the levees and to determine if sufficient fill was available, plan production, and project management.
Pumpkin Bayou

This project consisted of dredging cleanout of approximately 96,100 cubic yards in Pumpkin Bayou.
K&M Project Services designed the dredging cleanout and managed the project through completion.
Cameron Amenities

This project consisted of the construction of several conveniences for the local Cameron community such as; a boardwalk / floating dock, marina, new boat launch, restaurant, market, and RV resort. K&M was tasked with the complete construction administration and project management of these facilities located directly on the Calcasieu River Ship Channel Loop Pass.
Oyster Reef Restoration

This project consisted of engineering design, topographic and bathymetric data collection, construction administration, and project management services for the Calcasieu Lake & Sabine Wildlife Refuge Reef Restoration Project Phase IV.

K&M Project Services (K&M) was founded by T. Mitch Thomas, PE, in August 2020, just weeks prior to the devastating Hurricanes Laura and Delta, as a limited liability company in the State of Louisiana specializing in civil and coastal engineering.

K&M was conceived with a vision to provide excellent, efficient, and pragmatic civil/coastal engineering services to both public and private clients throughout Southwest Louisiana and the surrounding areas.
