Coastal / Water Resources Engineering Services involves planning and design of infrastructure relating to both hydrology and hydraulics in the upland and the coastal environment. K&M’s designs and studies help to mitigate/reduce flooding risks, protect and enhance our dynamic coastline, and provide insight into the complexities of the natural drainage here in South Louisiana. In addition, K&M also works with local water and wastewater districts to engineer their potable water systems and wastewater collection and treatment facilities.

Water Control Structures

K&M has worked with Rockefeller Refuge, local gravity drainage districts, and the State of Louisiana on Levee Refurbishment and Marsh Creation projects.
